Honey bee in the center of a flower, collecting nectar and pollen. Look hard at this creature because they are disappearing, along with so many other insects. This is a potential catastrophe not only for bees but for us because so much of the food we eat depends on pollination of plants by insects. And the population of insects has been going down. We must stop considering them pests and greet them as fellow — and essential– inhabitants of our planet.
